After going around, we listed the best coworking spaces on the Gold Coast for a more productive workspace experience.

How much do coworking spaces cost on the Gold Coast?
Coworking spaces on the Gold Coast can cost around $50 to $65 per hour. Customers can also pay $500 to $750 monthly to access additional resources.
The charge rate usually varies depending on the coworking space’s location, amenities offered, facilities, and available resources.
1. Old Station

Location: 1/45 Nerang St, Southport
Contact: [email protected], +61 3 0001 1750
Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Formerly known as Co Spaces, the Old Station at Southport is a great choice for people looking to mix the city’s historic charm into their work environment.
Situated at the century-old train station, this coworking space boasts spacious rooms and hallways, perfect for group meetings and handling huge traffic.
For those looking for more privacy, the building offers several exclusive office suites that can power a whole company.
That said, there are still much-needed additions for a more comfortable workflow.
While the Old Station offers customers amazing internet and snacks from its indoor bar, the lack of projectors and other presentation technology limits what people can do in the space.
Despite a few missing amenities, the Old Station remains a great coworking space in the area, especially due to its proximity to well-known commercial establishments.
Our team particularly preferred the short walk to Officeworks Southport, several food joints, and the local Chinatown.
Customers can grab their food and supplies and return to work without losing momentum. What more could you ask for?
Great atmosphere for working
“Great facilities, can-do attitude from the staff, convenient rooftop bar next door, cafe on premises with handy order deliveries to the desk, speedy wifi. [It’s] much better than working from my living room alone.”
– Linda Angledal, Google Review
Awesome place to work
“Awesome place to work – right in the middle of Southport among all the hustle and bustle! [It] has [a] fantastic internet and wifi.”
– Stephen Dalton, Google Review
2. Gold Coast Business Hub

Location: Kay House, Level 2, 35/39 Scarborough St, Southport
Contact: [email protected], +61 7 5528 5470
Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
The Gold Coast Business Hub sets itself apart for the numerous work-related amenities it can offer businesses and employees.
For one, customers can complete their work undisturbed with its well-equipped private offices or get more legroom with the dedicated day desks.
Customers are even given complementary food and drinks to energize them throughout their stay.
Of course, employees aren’t the only ones who can enjoy the Business Hubs’ facilities. Companies will particularly like the training and meeting rooms fully equipped with all the much-needed amenities and technologies.
These include interactive TVs, projects, whiteboard markers, and built-in computers for an easy set-up.
Executives are also offered separate offices to rent 24/7 to complete out-of-hour tasks.
Best of all, the business hub has no commitment terms preventing renters from switching office locations.
What’s more, the office is only a few steps from four urban parks, several restaurants, banks, and other essential services businesses need.
The only downside with Business Hubs’ facilities is they aren’t suited to small-scale businesses due to high rent rates.
While most business owners can afford to use the coworking space’s facilities occasionally, renting a full corporate office poses huge financial risks and budget issues.
Hassle-free, spacious, and lovely staff
“100% the best business hub and day working facility on the Gold Coast! The staff [is] lovely and the facilities are awesome, we love having our long-term office situated at GC Business Hub in Southport.
If you’re looking for an office, full-time or part-time, you’ve got to do that here – there’s no other place that offers what you’ll get at GC Business Hub. We wish we’d moved in instead of learning the pitfalls elsewhere.”
– Zane Lucas, Google Review
Highly recommended
“We booked the Executive Boardroom/Training Room for a Senior Leadership meeting. The room was [immaculate] and easy to set up. Complimentary food and drink were made available to our team throughout the day. [We] would book meeting spaces at the Gold Coast Business Hub again!”

3. HabitatHQ

Location: 15/17 Millennium Cct, Helensvale
Contact: [email protected], 1300 110 498
Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Like its name, HabitatHQ wants its visitors to feel at home even when working.
From facilities to the workspace atmosphere, all are carefully designed to make visitors comfortable even if far from home.
For one, the lobby is structured to imitate a living room with potted plants paced near homely tables and sofas. There’s even a kitchen-like snack bar for customers to enjoy treats and drinks after long work hours.
The room is even equipped with an entertainment set, including TVs and game consoles, for customers to enjoy during their downtime.
Our team particularly enjoyed the game room because we can be loud without disturbing other customers, thanks to its soundproofing system.
The only downside of HabitatHQ’s services is the lack of some essential office tools, primarily projectors, whiteboards, and printers.
Customers need to bring their laptops and devices, as HabitatHQ’s amenities don’t cover them.
Aside from a few shortcomings, HabitatHQ is still a great coworking space in Helensvale if it’s the atmosphere and aesthetics you want the most.
Blows away our expectations
“The amenities at Habitat were top-notch! Everything is well thought through [and] the ambiance is delightful. Sophie was generous with her helpfulness, and other users were kind and considerate.”
– Vickie Robinson, Google Review
Fantastic space for a workforce of all sizes
“We love our office at HabitatHQ! It’s a fantastic space, with meeting rooms to cater [to] all sizes and a great little cafe for our morning coffee fix. Everyone is super friendly and I’d like to thank Emma especially – she always [ensures] we’re happy and nothing is too much trouble.”

4. Cohort Innovation Space

Location: 16 Nexus Way, Southport
Contact: [email protected], (+617) 5610 1906
Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Cohort Innovation Space is more than just a coworking space; it focuses on boosting productivity by building connections and networks through regular programs and events for entrepreneurs and small businesses.
These include pitch presentations and access to startup resources like AWS Activate, Google Cloud for Startups, and Stripe for e-commerce operations.
This is in addition to recreational events for newcomers to get close and learn directly from professionals. One of its most popular recurring events is its yoga classes.
Best of all, employees and companies aren’t the only ones who could enjoy Cohort’s amenities.
In partnership with Griffith University, students can use the facilities, resources, and assistance to transform their innovative ideas into working startups.
The student-led program allows people to study under the Gold Coast’s prominent business leaders and several multi-day workshops to polish their startup ideas. Cohort truly puts innovation at the forefront!
That said, Cohort might not be suited for everyone. Due to its unique workplace culture, people preferring to work alone might feel outside their comfort zones.
It also only has a few private offices for people to work peacefully outside its communal space. However, if your goal is socialization, there’s no better place than Cohort.
Full of amenities and helpful staff
“Nice, friendly, and helpful staff. [Many] programs [are] happening that are beneficial for small businesses. Rocket fast internet connection. Very comfortable and aesthetically appealing conditions.”
– Viktor Korsun, Google Review
Great working space for startups
“Cohort is an exceptional coworking space that fosters a vibrant community for startups. The staff’s incredible support and enthusiasm create an inviting atmosphere.
The space itself is dynamic and fun, encouraging collaboration and innovation. A hub like Cohort isn’t just a workspace; it’s a launchpad for entrepreneurial success.”

5. Fleks Workspaces

Location: Unit 11/76 Township Dr, Burleigh Heads
Contact: [email protected], 1300 769 247
Hours: Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Fleks Workspaces provides all the resources and facilities small businesses need to build their operations.
Employees can enjoy working with others in the Hot Desk coworking area or enjoy a more private space with 24/7 access to the Dedicated Desk package.
Companies can also have the facility for a virtual office, boardroom, and meeting room. The rooms even have a smart TV and a large whiteboard for an easy presentation set-up.
All packages offer fast internet, printing services, and complimentary food and drinks.
Our team, however, was the most interested in Fleks’s membership rewards. From 24/7 workspace access to workshop facilities, small businesses can have all the resources needed to enter their respective industries.
While bigger businesses can still enjoy Fleks’s amenities, the facility might not keep up with its scale and resource requirements. One notable restriction is the limited space that hinders businesses from expanding their operations without compromising other people in the area.
Despite its restrictions, Fleks is a wonderful stepping stone for startups looking to have a budget-friendly place to call home.
An excellent value for your money
“We started at Fleks Workspace almost 4 years ago, and it’s been the perfect place to grow our business. Jack and Nikol have been incredibly supportive and encouraging, always going the extra mile to ensure we have what we need.
The location is fantastic, with great parking and easy access to local amenities. Fleks Workspace offers excellent value for money in a comfortable and friendly environment.”
– Louise Mathison, Google Review
A standout working space
“My sister found this co-working space in Burleigh and I joined her to get a break from working from home. [It’s] such a beautiful environment with many gadgets and good chairs.
[It] even [has] stands to put your laptop on. Lovely friendly staff and other co-workers. Close to many cafes and always found parking either in the complex or on the street.”
– Lauren Westerberg, Google Review
