Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for sellers. Clients looking to sell properties via LINK can expect delays, meaning additional charges. 

These charges primarily include building maintenance costs and license validations—expenses that could escalate as more months pass.

Communication might also slow down as time passes, although agents still provide regular updates regarding new buyers at least once a month.

While this might be stressful to some, LINK agents are trained to stick with their clients until a final decision about the property is reached.

The downside with Benchmark is that its service wouldn’t suit bigger businesses. Small to medium-sized establishments would benefit more from the company where most of its services are focused.

Benchmark’s property listings and consultations are aimed at smaller commercial properties like local supermarkets, service stations, childcare centers, and development sites. 

Bigger businesses would have a harder time receiving reasonable offers from smaller startups and new entrepreneurs—its usual buyer clients.

Some clients may also encounter challenges in requesting an in-person inspection of the property. However, these cases are few and can easily be resolved by contacting the company’s customer service.

We found it particularly interesting that all of Better’s sales agents are successful business owners. Clients can rest assured that their agents know the industry’s ins and outs and will provide experienced advice for better sales or purchase opportunities.

Moreover, we also can’t help but appreciate the agents’ commitment to their clients throughout the process. 

Several previous customers we interviewed testified to Better’s communication services in keeping all parties in the loop during and after the settlement.

The only downside to the company’s services is that it’s more targeted towards sellers than buyers. Sellers are likely to benefit more from Better’s advisory and valuation services than property buyers, who are typically foreign entities. 

Better’s property listing primarily includes local businesses, all having selling pitches targeted toward out-of-state entrepreneurs looking to expand operations on the Gold Coast.

The only few commercial properties marketed towards local business owners are location sales for franchisors planning to open new branches in the city. This is in addition to its exclusive license approval assistance services, packages only sellers can benefit from.
